Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the supply of repair services by S.M.A.R.T Automotive Hampshire (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer. By booking a repair or requesting a quote you agree to these terms.

About us

S.M.A.R.T Automotive Hampshire provides mobile SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technique) cosmetic bodywork and alloy wheel repairs across Hampshire. Contact us at hello@sah.ltd or 023 8225 6702.

Quotes

Quotes are provided in good faith based on the information and photos supplied. The final price may be adjusted on inspection if the damage differs from what was described. Any revised price will be agreed with you before work starts. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Bookings and access

• You must own the vehicle or have the owner’s permission to authorise the repair.
• You are responsible for providing safe, legal and accessible working space (off-road parking, suitable lighting where needed, and a power supply if requested).
• Work cannot be carried out safely in heavy rain, freezing conditions or high winds. We may need to reschedule for weather or safety reasons.

Cancellations

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours, or when our technician arrives and cannot carry out the work due to access, weather or vehicle issues outside our control, may incur a call-out fee.

Workmanship and limitations

SMART repairs are localised cosmetic repairs and are not the same as a full bodyshop respray. We aim for an excellent colour and finish match, but minor variation can occur on faded, pearlescent or tri-coat finishes. We will always advise honestly if a SMART repair is not the right solution for your damage.

Guarantee

Our work is guaranteed for 12 months against defects in workmanship under normal use. The guarantee does not cover further accidental damage, stone chips, corrosion originating from elsewhere on the vehicle, kerbing of repaired wheels, or damage caused by harsh chemicals or automated brush car washes within 14 days of repair.

Aftercare

• Do not wash the vehicle for 48 hours after a paint repair.
• Avoid automated brush car washes for 14 days.
• Refitted alloy wheels should be re-torqued after approximately 50 miles.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and card payments. Title in any parts supplied remains with us until payment is received in full.

Liability

We carry public liability and motor trade insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim relating to a repair is limited to the price paid for that repair.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on this page on the date you confirm the booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
