How we carry it out

We find a route behind the panel, through a window aperture, trim or drain hole.
- 02Read the dent
A reflection board shows the exact high and low points of the damage.
- 03Massage out
The dent is worked out gradually from behind with specialist rods, in small increments.
- 04Refine
High spots are tapped down until the panel reads flat under the board.
- 05Finish
Where the paint has cracked, the area is refinished and blended instead.

- Can every dent be repaired this way?
- No. Dents on a panel edge, over a sharp crease, or where the paint has cracked need a paint repair instead. Photos tell us quickly.
- Does it damage the paint?
- Not when done properly. PDR preserves your original finish, which is better for the car's history and value.
