Kerbed alloy wheel refurbishment
That kerb definitely moved. Your wheels don't have to show it.
Kerb damage, scuffing and corrosion on painted and machined alloy wheels, repaired on your driveway. Wheels are fully prepared, repaired, refinished and lacquered, not simply painted over, so the finish lasts and matches the rest of the set.
Is this your damage?
- Scuffed or gouged wheel rims
- Lacquer peeling or bubbling
- White corrosion spreading under the finish
- One wheel that no longer matches the other three
How it usually happens
- Kerbing while parking or turning
- Potholes and raised drain covers
- Corrosion under the lacquer from road salt
- Tyre fitting damage on the wheel lip
However it happened, we're not here to judge, just to put it right.
How we carry it out
- 01Remove, prep, repair & paint
The wheel is removed, cleaned and the damaged area repaired back to shape.
- 02Full chemical strip
Where the finish has failed or corroded, the wheel is fully chemically stripped.
- 03Prime & base
Primer and base coat applied to your wheel's original colour and finish.
- 04Colour-tinted lacquer if required
Used where the factory finish carries a tint, so the set matches.
- 05Cure & refit
Lacquer cured, wheel balanced and refitted to the correct torque.
Questions about kerbed alloy wheel repair
- Do you have to take the wheels away?
- No, standard painted and machined wheels are refurbished on your driveway while the car stays with you.
- Can you match the original colour?
- Yes, including shadow chrome, anthracite, gloss black and factory silvers, with a tinted lacquer where the original had one.
- Is buckling or cracking repairable?
- Structural damage is a separate job and we'll tell you honestly if a wheel isn't safe to refinish.
