Paint mixed to your paint code, then tinted against the panel in daylight.
- 04Blend
Colour is blended outward into the panel rather than stopped at a hard edge.
- 05Lacquer & polish
Infrared cured lacquer, flatted and machine polished to match the original gloss.
Questions about paint scratch repair
- Can a scratch be polished out instead?
- If your fingernail doesn't catch, it's likely lacquer-deep and may polish out. Anything deeper needs paint.
- Do you respray the whole panel?
- No. We repair and blend the affected area only, that's what makes SMART repair faster and cheaper than a bodyshop.
- Will stone chips come back?
- Repaired chips stay repaired. New ones can appear with motorway use, which is why we can touch in several at once.
